Recently the researcher believes that about 12 percent children snore in the age group of 1 year to 9 years. The regular snoring may be due to some medical problems, which is called Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS) or sleep Apnea.

The sleep apnea is when the child snores loudly interrupted by breathing. The interruptions may be for a period of 5 seconds up to 30 seconds. • The child does not get proper sleep at night and therefore he is tired the whole day and this brings about loss of concentration in studies, and performance is poor.
