Snoring is a common problem faced by couples where one snores and the other lays awake half the night hearing snoring. Many people regard it as a common problem and learn to bear with it. The snoring is mainly caused by tissues in the throat which prevents air from entering the nose. The muscles in the nose completely relax and therefore we snore. This happens only during deep sleep and the whole day we breathe normally. During sleep the tongue rolls back into the throat and the jaw falls this narrows the air passage and the vibration is created which results in snoring.
The person who snores is asked not to sleep on their sides as this will block the air passage. There are many instruments invented for a person who snores some of them are listed herein The common is a sock covered with a small ball which will not allow the snorer to sleep on his back.
The doctors believe that the fat or obese people tend to snore more than the healthy or lean people.Therefore the snorer is advised to loose weight and start exercising which will also help them in preventing many more diseases like heart, lungs etc. For loosing weight you have many options available from the mild Yoga to rigorous exercises to Aerobics and weight training. Apart from this to loose weight you need to look at your diet and eat only healthy food.
Avoid drinking alcohol, taking drugs or smoking before you sleep.
Follow the routine and get to sleep everyday at the same time. You can sleep better if you follow your routine.
